DROP SHIP LIFESTYLE

People who have never seen success in their own lives will tell you that to "make it" you've got to get lucky, or to be in the right place at the right time, or that you need to know the right people, or that the only way to find freedom and wealth is to be greedy... None of these statements can be further from the truth. This is how it all began...

Taking it Way Back

I never thought that I would make money online or own an online business.

When I was a kid, I looked up to my uncle who ran a successful physical location company. Once in college, I was constantly trying to think of business ideas that could lead me on the path to wealth while following in my uncles footsteps. I was going to restaurant franchise trade shows, health and wellness seminars, taking real estate classes and regularly attending business networking groups. I certainly had not chosen a clear path to take after school, but no one could say I wasn’t motivated.

My First Business

One of my friends fathers owned a very successful bakery route. He had lots of trucks, lots of employees, and he sold lots of bread. They had contracts with a local bakery and contracts with grocery stores who sold the bread. This model made them good money and they lived what I thought was a very nice lifestyle…

This is when I had my amazing idea!

I found a small bakery route for sale at what I thought was a great price… my plan was to buy this route, build it up by getting more and more contracts with more stores, and then flip it by selling and reinvesting the profits into another business.

Sounds easy, right? It was TERRIBLE

First off, I had to drive from Long Island to Brooklyn every morning and sit in traffic. Then I had to drive all around the city selling cookies to grocery store managers who were miserable with their lives and who did not respect me at all… to them I was just a delivery boy. I knew things had to change…

The Turning Point

Early in 2007, I purchased a copy of The Four Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferris and I can say this that was one of the biggest turning points of my life.

This book opened my eyes to what was possible online. It explained to me that it is not just possible to start an online business that generates a full time income online but it is possible set it up so your business can function on autopilot and literally just watch money flow into your bank account as you oversee your operation. It explained to me that for a very minimal investment you can set up these websites and sit back and watch the sales continuously come in. I sold my bakery route and decided to move into the eCommerce space. When I did that, I was excited, but also terrified. I had NO IDEA what would happen next...

My First eCommerce Store

With nothing more than a little bit of time and a strong desire to succeed, I began researching eCommerce and tracking what products were already selling online.

Back in 2007, we did not have the same tools we have today, so I had to get creative, but I was able to identify my future competitors best selling items. This was no easy task. In fact, I spent many late nights and weekends working in my local library. However, I knew that I was sacrificing time then to change my life forever.

I believed in myself and in this business. I knew I could make it work if I put enough time into my market research.

fg

With that knowledge, I moved on to finding suppliers who made these products - companies that I could sell for.

I spent $29 on a eCommerce hosting package, listed the products, sent traffic to the store, and watched the orders start to come in!

SUCCESS

With a $29 investment, I did:

Over

$300,000

FIRST YEAR

Over

$680,000

SECOND YEAR

Over

$1,200,000

THIRD YEAR

Over

$1,800,000

FOURTH YEAR

...and that year, I sold my first million dollar business.

At first I was disgusted and I just left the forums... but then I realized I had the opportunity to help all of the people who were actually there to learn. I began calling out the gurus on their sleazy sales methods but more importantly, I provided REAL value and REAL answers to those who sought it.

I began by answering questions via PMs, then via email, then I became known as the go-to guy and simply could not answer all the questions anymore.

This is when Drop Ship Lifestyle was born.

Instead of answering question after question, I took my decade of knowledge and turned it into a seven-step process that anyone can follow. No scams, no outdated techniques, no push button gimmicks, just a tested system for creating drop ship stores that works time and time again.
