Before building his Shopify store, Mario had experience selling products on eBay.
He understood the basics of ecommerce — fulfilling orders, answering customer emails, and keeping buyers happy.
But launching his own store was a completely different challenge.
Mario started building his store toward the end of 2017, and 2018 became a full year of learning, testing, and refining the business.
At one point, things got so difficult that he was down to his last few thousand dollars.
But instead of quitting, Mario doubled down and kept pushing forward.
By 2019, the business finally began to take off.
In this interview, Mario shares what the early days looked like and the lessons that helped his store grow into a successful high-ticket ecommerce business.
