From First Sale to a $1.5M Store

Before starting his dropshipping store, Nathan’s only ecommerce experience came from selling products on eBay and Poshmark.
Like many sellers on those platforms, he quickly ran into a common problem.
His garage started filling up with inventory.
Storing products, packing orders, and managing shipments became time consuming and inefficient.
That’s when Nathan discovered the high-ticket dropshipping model.
Instead of buying and storing products himself, he could work directly with suppliers and sell products online without managing inventory.
After building his store and launching his ads, something surprising happened.
Nathan got his first sale within about 30 minutes.
Although that order ended up being a backordered item, it proved something important.
The system worked.
That moment confirmed that customers were willing to buy from his store.
From there, Nathan focused on building the business over the next year.
One of the biggest challenges he faced early on was calling suppliers and getting approved to sell their products.
At first, the idea of reaching out to suppliers felt intimidating.
Questions like:
“Why would they want to work with me?”
“What if they say no?”
created hesitation.
But once Nathan pushed past that fear, the process became much easier.
His approach became simple:
Call the supplier.
If they say no, move on to the next one.
Another major factor that helped Nathan grow his store was connecting with other members through mastermind groups inside the Drop Ship Lifestyle community.
Having people to ask questions and share experiences with helped him gain confidence and move faster.
Over the course of about a year, Nathan built his store into a successful business and earned his place in the Drop Ship Lifestyle 100K Club.
His biggest advice for new store owners?
Push past the initial fear and take action.
The more confident you become running your business, the faster things start to grow.
